Meet us here the night before the big day!! Grab a drink or some food at one the many food trucks. Come casual! We can’t wait to see you ❤️
A fun way to see the top of pikes peak without the hike! This is great for kids and adults. The top of the mountain is cold so bring a jacket. It’s about 25min away from the resort.
Right behind the resort is the Garden of the Gods park. There is great trails that can be made as easy or hard as you like. There is many paved trails. Parking is free! But, August is busy and the park gets crowded so go early if you can and beat the heat. From the visitor center there is also a trolley that drives through the park if you are looking for a scenic drive experience.
These two cute little towns surrounding the resort have tons of restaurants, shopping and souvenirs. So many things to do and see. We go here every time we’re in town.
Great souvenirs with a restaurant/starbucks inside
Stunning overlook of kissing camels rock
The most notable hike. Over 2000 stair to the top of an old rail road track. The website claims you need a permit to climb. From personal experience, no one was checking. Go early! Sun hits directly on the mountain. You can take the Barr trail back down. Parking is tricky so check the website for details. We parked at Dillion mobility lot and took the free route 33 shuttle to the base of the mountain with no issues. We loved this hike!!!
Easy 3mile trail with “7 bridges” to see. Not amazing views but on North Cheyenne Canton road there are dozen of trail heads and waterfalls to see
Attached to Broadmoor hotel. A hike to see 7 waterfalls. This hike requires an entry fee per person but is very popular and you can eat lunch at the iconic hotel.
