Think: earthy jewel tones, dark florals, lace, bell sleeves, deep reds, lots of black, even strappy leather accents. It is Halloween after all, we want you guys to get creative with it but still, keep it classy. I’m not super pressed about masculine-presenting guests wearing jackets or ties, I’m more worried about preserving a vibe. If a few buttons left undone best suits that vibe, go for it. Similarly, there’s no requirement for modesty from femme-presenting guests. Look as hot as you want to. Channel your inner sirens and vampires. October 1st!
All of our registry items have been consolidated to the registry on this website. Since we have been living together for a long time and Orion had been living on their own prior to the couple moving in together, we’re set on traditional household goods typically found on wedding registries. Instead, our registry is largely focused on experiences and spending quality time together, as well as a few items to commemorate the day. We appreciate any contributions you can make.
Yes! There will be an open bar and we want everyone making it to and from their destination in one piece.
Kindly, we have decided to host a child-free wedding, including infants. We want to maintain a glamorous and peaceful event for both ourselves and our guests.
We’ve limited plus-ones to those partners whom David and I have met or at the very least, have heard lots about. We decided we don’t want to introduce ourselves to anyone on our wedding day and would rather enjoy the company of the people closest to us.
We ask that you please practice and seek to learn more before the big day. Orion has come a long way to accept themself and has found a partner who loves and respects the person they’ve become, and that’s a huge part of what we’re celebrating! We want us and all of the queer identities we hold to be honored and celebrated by our guests. If you’re still worried about getting it right, ask questions and seek to understand so that you can join us in celebrating this piece of our love story.
No smoking or vaping inside the venues or cabins! However, we’re setting up a 420-friendly smoking lounge adjacent to the venue, don’t worry- it’ll still be nearby all the action.
The ceremony & cocktail hour will be outdoors. The reception will be largely indoors with continued outdoor activities and access. Please consider the weather when planning your attire.
We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can all unplug and enjoy! Feel free to capture as much of the reception as you’d like following the ceremony! We can’t wait to see what you capture!
No! This is a queer wedding with influences drawn from witchy traditions and rave culture. While not fully traditional in a witchy sense either, there are several elements we have drawn inspiration from including astrology, elemental magic and tarot. Music during the reception is likely to pack a heavy bass line. Please consider whether you feel comfortable attending our big gay spooky day prior to RSVPing.
