We will be off the grid. There is no cellular service at the HideOut. There is a satellite phone available for emergency outgoing calls, but you should not expect to be reachable at the venue. Although there is limited cellular service at Kirkwood Mountain Resort, Highway 88 has little to no service on the stretch near The HideOut. There is no WiFi at The HideOut. Please plan accordingly.
-Does my child under 12 need to be vaccinated against COVID-19? No. We are only requiring that everyone eligible over the age of 12 be fully vaccinated and boosted. -I'm not fully vaccinated against Covid-19. What if I test myself before hand? We're not making vaccine exceptions for adults. If you are not fully vaccinated, we ask you to respect our wishes and not attend. -I am fully vaccinated. Do I need to test myself before hand? While we strongly suggest that you do (and would appreciate it!), we will not be enforcing this. -Are you requiring masks? Yes, during the shuttle ride (if you're taking it). Otherwise, no. Though, if you feel more comfortable with a mask on, go for it! -What precautions are being taken? In addition to requiring all vendors and guests to be vaccinated, all events will be held outdoors with ample airflow.

Yes! The easiest location will be the first option listed on the Travel page - Kirkwood Mountain Resort. It is 17 miles up the road from the Hideout and will have shuttle service on the day of the wedding. The posted link will automatically apply our discount code.
We will have several shuttles between Kirkwood Mountain Resort and The Hideout (17 miles away) starting a few hours before the ceremony and well into the night. We will be assigning guests to shuttle pick-up times (2:00pm & 3:00pm) in advance to ensure everyone has a seat. -How do I know what time I'm assigned to? You will be notified with your pick-up time. Keep and eye out for communication from Matt/Orianna. -Where exactly at Kirkwood do we catch the shuttle? At the Kirkwood Lodge. 1377 Kirkwood Meadows Drive, Kirkwood, CA 95646 -How will we get back? All shuttles will be running from The Hideout back to Kirkwood from approx. 8:00pm-1:00am. There will not be assigned times to leave the wedding. If you know the address of your room, our drivers will do their best to get you as close to it as they can. -What happens if I miss my assigned shuttle? You can hop on the next available shuttle that has space. Additionally, there will be a shuttle for stragglers after the pick-up times. Though, you will likely miss the ceremony. -Do I have to take a shuttle? No. There is limited parking at the venue. If you plan to drink alcohol and are staying near Kirkwood, we STRONGLY suggest you take advantage of a designated driver (aka. take the shuttle).
Yes. The road is unpaved but mostly flat until the very last section, known as Pucker Butt Hill. 4WD is not required. Here's the link to directions: https://www.hideoutkirkwood.com/directions While there is parking, it may be slightly limited due to our guest count. If you are able we encourage you to carpool or use the shuttles. Fill your gas tank when you can! There are very limited gas stations close to the resort. We recommend filling up in the Sutter Creek/Pioneer area.
Cocktail attire is preferred. The ground is grass and wood chips. Skinny hells are not recommended.
