We met at a career mixer at Heliopolis Café in Calgary, and from the very first conversation, everything just felt easy. For our first date, we went to see One Battle After Another, an Oscar-winning movie that we like to think won because of us. After the movie, we walked around University District for a bit, talking and getting to know each other better. Somewhere along the way, friendship turned into love, and the rest is history.
