How should I get from Lisbon to Evora?
Answer
There are many ways to get to Evora depending on your preferred mode of transit and where you want to go as a next stop. Buses, trains and car rentals are all available. Car rental: All the major companies are available from the airport. You can also rent cars from Lisbon's Oriente train station, depending on your travel schedule. Trains: Trains run 4-5 times a day between Lisbon Oriente station and Evora. The ride time is about 1.5 hours each way and tickets cost between $10-$20 each way. What's the driving like in Portugal?

Highway driving in Portugal is pretty straightforward. The roads are very well maintained, the signage is good and Google maps works everywhere. Your rental company will include a toll reader so you can go through the "Via Verde" lane at booths; just be advised some of the tolls are hefty and you'll get that bill a few weeks after you return your vehicle.

Can I use my credit or debit cards in Portugal?
Answer
Yes, Portugal accepts digital payments almost everywhere. Cash is usually not necessary (except at some small, local restaurants or in taxis). You may need to alert your bank the dates that you will be traveling internationally to avoid a hold on your card.

While we love your little ones, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. No under 18s permitted. Thank you for understanding.

If your guests name is listed on the invite, and when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family.
