Question

Where will the Ceremony and Reception take place?

Answer

Good news, the ceremony and reception will all be in one location at Whitechapel Projects which is a brewery in Long Branch, NJ. The ceremony and a portion of the reception area will be outdoors. Outside portions may be partially gravel/shells, so ladies you may want to keep the stiletto heels at home.

Question

What time does the Ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm on Friday, October 7, 2022. We look for guests to be seated by then. Pick a seat not a side, you can sit wherever you like. The venue will open doors at 5pm. The venue is reserved for the day for our wedding and will not be accessible prior to 5pm. The ceremony is scheduled to be in the outdoor courtyard of the venue which is adjacent to the front entrance.

Question

What is an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged, meaning we are asking you to keep your cell phones and cameras put away. A pro will be there taking pictures and video and that’s all we need. We promise to share it with you afterwards. The greatest gift you can give us on our wedding day is to be truly present, so please keep the devices away for the ceremony at least. Reception is all yours.

Question

Will parking be available?

Answer

More good news, there is a large parking lot with ample space located at the venue. The parking lot at the venue is FREE to use for our wedding event. The parking lot is gravel so ladies watch your heels. There is also street parking available. Enter the venue through the front entrance on 2nd Avenue.

Question

What type of venue is Whitechapel Projects (WCP)?

Answer

Whitechapel Projects is a brewery with an industrial look and feel. The Whitechapel Projects was developed in a 120 year Warehouse complex through an environmentally friendly construction process called adaptive reuse. Adaptive reuse takes a structure that has outlived its usefulness, deconstructs it, and rebirths it using its original construction material. You can say WCP is our something old. We love the space and team there and hope you will too! For more information about the venue please visit their website https://www.whitechapelprojects.com

Question

Is there lodging at the venue?

Answer

WCP is a brewery only, but located a block from Pier Village which has several hotels. See the hotel page if you wish to stay overnight or make a weekend at the Jersey shore. We highly recommended it! Our love story began in Asbury Park, so we will be staying overnight at an AirBnb there prior to and following our wedding.

Question

I plan to be thirsty. What are my options?

Answer

OPEN BAR. Good news is WCP craft beer menu will be on tap and domestic beer will also be available. Our WCP signature cocktail will be available along with mixed drinks, wine, and spiritless offerings.

Question

What about COVID-19?

Answer

In light of COVID-19, we want to let you know your health and safety are our top priority. The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will be partially outdoors within a tented space and inside space will be open to the outdoors for outside air flow. If you are not feeling well or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 we kindly ask that you do not attend the wedding as that is the best way for us to ensure the safety of our guests. We will continue to figure things out as it gets closer and will keep you posted about any other protocols in place for our wedding. We also fully support and understand if the COVID-19 safety protocols that will be in place do not work for you and your comfort to attend. It’s ok, we’re in this together.

Question

How do I RSVP? Will I receive an invitation in the mail?

Answer

We ask that all invited guests RSVP on this website under the RSVP page. Please RSVP by September 1. Since we use our phones more than the mailbox, please consider this wedding website as your invitation and source for information. If you need to change your RSVP at any time, it’s OK. You can change it on the RSVP page. Let us know if you’re having an issue with the RSVP page, we’ll get it fixed for you.
