Church Ceremony Rehearsal

The church ceremony rehearsal is for the bridal party and those participating in the wedding. There is a parking structure located on Sheridan Road, North of the Madonna Della Strada Chapel.
Rehearsal Dinner

The rehearsal dinner is for the bridal party and those participating in the wedding. The rehearsal dinner will take place at Quartino after the church ceremony rehearsal. The groom's parents, Dr. and Mrs. Shepard, are excited to be hosting the Rehearsal Dinner in Chicago’s River North. The night before Kirk proposed, they dined at Quartino before their ballet. Quartino offers diners an authentic, lively, urban Italian food and wine experience. The menu features regional Italian specialties, many made in-house with the highest respect for Italian culinary traditions, and with a value for utilizing artisan, authentic, Italian products. The menu includes a wide range of items such as house-made artisan salumi, house-made cheeses, Neapolitan pizza, house-made pasta, Aged Acquerello Carnaroli risotti, house-made meatballs and knife cut sausage, as well as mouthwatering seafood. Be prepared to share stories, eat authentic Italian cuisine, and toast the bride and groom.

Wedding Ceremony

Black-Tie: Wear floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses, tuxes with black neckties or bowties.
There will be a shuttle bus transport provided for guests from the Palmer House Hotel to the Wedding Ceremony. The shuttle bus will arrive at the Palmer House at 11:40am and depart promptly at 12:00pm. The shuttle bus will be located on the Wabash Street hotel entrance. Please look for the 'Shepard Wedding Shuttle' sign in the hotel lobby. The shuttle will collect guests and return to the Palmer House after the ceremony. Guests who are driving can park in the parking structure located on Sheridan Road, North of the Madonna Della Strada Chapel. The ushers at the chapel will be able to validate guest's parking tickets to cover the cost of parking. A golf cart and golf cart driver will be available for use on the day of the wedding to shuttle guests between the parking structure and Madonna Della Strada Chapel.

Convenient parking is located in the Millennium Park Garage, Grant Park North, Grant Park South and East Monroe Garages.
