Because we started dating during June of 2020, there is no exact first date date! We chatted on-line, our first several "dates" were over facetime, and the first time we met in-person it was to sit in a park 6ft apart. So we decided our "anniversary" was the summer solstice. We got engaged officially on the summer solstice of our 5th year together, though we had been talking about it for longer. And when we decided to do the legal aspect of getting married, we chose to do it on the winter solstice, the start of a new celestial year, and the beginning of a new season together. We are so excited to celebrate with you, as close to the summer solstice of 2026 as we could get. Grandma's Marathon had first claim on that Saturday, and I am unwilling to subject anyone, let alone myself, to try moving around the city that day!
