In the past few weeks, we honeymooned in Scotland/Ireland, enjoyed some incredibly fortunate weather, met a plethora of kind people, and, of course, drank way too much Guinness :) We reluctantly came back to real life, but were confronted with a ridiculous pile of wedding gifts. We opened cards with messages overflowing onto the back, gifts with customized "J&M" wrapping paper, and texts with beautiful and hysterical photos from an awesome weekend. There was just such an outpouring of love, we could only open a few gifts and cards before we were emotionally drained on a given night. It took us weeks to finish opening everything! In addition, because of your overwhelming generosity, we had to increase the charitable fund limits because Zola closed them. With that (and some fortunate corporate donation matching), we were able to donate over $5,000 to cancer research, treatment, and survivor support; an amount we would not have possibly dreamed of. More than money, there is simply no way to repay the kindness and love that you all shared with us that day, in the weeks prior, and throughout our whole lives to this point. But, we can only hope to live in response to that love and to see everyone again as soon as we can. We love each and every one of you and can only hope you enjoyed our wedding weekend a fraction of what we did.
