The day we say I do.

Jacob and Olivia matched on Hinge early in April. They finally planned a first date at Starbucks in Liberty Center. Olivia parked very far away, by accident, and Jacob rushed to her aid to help her find the coffee shop. As she was waiting it began to rain. Jacob offered to go get his car, drive around, and pick her up, but she was up for an adventure. So, the pair ran through the rain completely across Liberty Center, starting off this date a little “soggy”. They ended up talking for 3 HOURS, later shared dinner and a movie, and the rest is history🤍

First off, Olivia never doubted Jacob was THE ONE. So the idea of him proposing was never a shock or even a question. However, Jacob’s timing couldn’t have been more perfect. Jacob and Olivia’s photographer’s name is Jessica. Olivia has been doing spontaneous photo shoots with her ever since high school, so it is not out of the ordinary for the two of them to last minute have a little photo shoot. Jessica reached out to Olivia in October wanting to do marketing photos for her upcoming “Winter Mini Sessions”, however she “didn’t” have any time until November 12th. It was perfect timing because Jacob kept encouraging Olivia to book a photo shoot anyway! What Olivia didn’t know was all of that was a set up from the beginning. Jacob had orchestrated it to where it looked like Jessica’s idea and not his😂 The week before, Olivia started to talk about how “cool” it would be if he proposed at the photo shoot! She wasn’t suspicious quite yet, just fancying the idea of it happening. Jake was trying to play it cool all week but kept hounding Olivia for more details about the day! The Friday before Samuel, Jake’s best man, came in for a hair cut. Olivia made a comment about someday being apart of the family, and that hopefully it was soon. Samuel responds “Well I know it’s happening soon, I was with him when he bought the ring!”. He thought Olivia was aware the ring had been purchased, but she had NO IDEA. Of course Olivia digs to see if it’s happening at the photo shoot and Samuel quickly covers his tracks by saying “No it can’t because the ring isn’t even in yet.” For the most part, Olivia believed him, but that idea was still in the back of her mind. Sunday rolls around, and all day Olivia is trying her best to pick up queues from Jake, like if he’s nervous or acting unusual. Jake plays it so cool and was more concerned about the Bengals vs Texans game! As they’re on their way to the photo shoot, a friend text Olivia asking if she was still suspicious. She most certainly was not, because Jake was more concerned about the Bengals loss than the photo shoot. They arrive to the photo shoot and are doing a lot of “action” style photographs. Piggy back rides, little dance moves, very candid style poses. Jessica asks Jake to take a couple steps behind Olivia and run to pick her up. She counts down from 3, and nothing. No movement. Olivia becomes frustrated with what she thought was Jacob’s inability to follow instructions, so she quickly turns around to find him on one knee. The second the pair make eye contact, Jacob just mumbles “Well will ya?”. Olivia completely at a loss for words, gasping for air, thought somewhere in there she responded yes! As she hugs Jake, she begins to sob. Jake calmly whispers into her ear…”Did you say yes?” Olivia responds with a HUGE YES! The photo shoot took place at Cox Arboretum in Centerville, underneath the watch tower. Apparently, there was a huge crowd at the top who watched the entire thing and began to cheer for the happy couple🤍
