This beautiful resort has cabins and some larger houses right on the river. It is halfway between Gunnison and Crested Butte, about 12 miles from the wedding venue. See their website or call for regular rates.

Elevation Hotel & Spa

Crested Butte is 30 mins from Gunnison and it is a darling mountain town. There are many other places to stay, but the Elevation Resort and Spa is our favorite in Crested Butte. Fun Fact: Crested Butte is the wildflower capital of Colorado and the flowers will be perfect this weekend.

Travel Note

Camping

There will be tent/RV camping on the day of the wedding. If you are planning on joining us for the day and want to celebrate all night long, join us for camping at the IBAR Ranch. Check-in is at 9 am Sunday, and check-out is Monday morning. There are several state parks that have slots available as well. Search camping in Gunnison National Park to learn more.

Gunnison airport

This is a small airport, but is minutes from the venue. It will probably more costly, but super convenient. There are 3 flights daily from Denver International Airport to Gunnison over the summer via United Airlines.

Gunnison is about 4 hours southwest of Denver. If you have never driven through Colorado in the summer, it is highly recommended. There are many places to stop and sightsee along the way.
