What if I want to stay down the block at another resort?

Answer

That's totally fine! It may be possible to meet up and hang at the public beach, but wedding party has no plans of leaving the resort. Important note, Unico will charge $138 to enter the resort for wedding. More jargon: The day passes are only guaranteed on the day of the ceremony. The wedding day passes allow access to the hotel during the ceremony and until the wedding events are done.

Is there FREE transportation to and from the airport?

Answer

Yes, guys wearing Unico outfits and sign will be waiting for you outside the airport (there will be a gaggle of drivers representing each resort). Ride is about an hour, they typically have drinks and WiFi in the van / car. Good time to practice your Spanish with driver.

Are kids invited?

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! And the resort is adults only.

Why Unico?

Answer

All inclusive EVERYTHING and no add-ons. This includes food and drinks, the spa, golf and adventures. We tested this ourselves and loved the resort. Restaurants, bars, and poolside no tip is required although nice to give and feel like a king. Plus there's a tennis court, a workout facility and all sorts of free aerobic / yoga courses for free offered throughout the day.

How do I get around?

Resort is not gigantic and does not require an Uber to get to the other side... Beyond the fact that things are easy to get to, we didn't feel the need to leave the resort, there was a lot to do (we stayed 5 days).

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.
