Alex and Chris’s story began long before they ever realized it. Both raised in Westchester—Alex a Larchmont girl, Chris a Harrison boy—their paths crossed more than once growing up. They attended the same middle school and shared familiar hometown ties, but life had other plans before the timing was right. Years later, in 2016, fate stepped in again when they reconnected. This time was different. What started as an easy familiarity quickly grew into something deeper, and by 2017, they were officially inseparable. Over the years, their relationship has been shaped by shared laughter, long conversations, and countless adventures. Together, they’ve explored everywhere from Portland, Maine to Montreal, Ireland, San Diego, and Tulum—but Portland will always hold a special place in their hearts. It was there, by a lighthouse overlooking the water, that Chris asked Alex to spend forever together. Nearly nine years after finding their way back to each other, what began as a childhood coincidence has grown into a lifelong love.
