We, Brittany and Scott, started out as friends. He was a fun and kind paramedic working at Brittany's volunteer fire department. We would often talk and spend time enjoying game nights with the duty crew each week. Scott would often compliment Brittany and notice small changes like her hair color, makeup changes, etc. which was really sweet. Brittany used to always tell everyone about the medic with the “gorgeous blue eyes.” Then one day Scott got one of our mutual friends to put us together in a snapchat group message and proceeded to branch off into messaging just Brittany. We messaged back and forth all day and made plans to go out that night. Brittany, being a little oblivious to people’s feelings about her, invited along three of her girlfriends. Brittany, Scott, Kelly and Alyssa all carpooled together to the Salt Shack to meet up with Brittany's friend Marisa who was bartending. We listened to some great music, danced, sang and had a fun time. Later in the night we all (or so Brittany thought) decided to go for a stroll down to the ocean. She turned around to see the girls had walked back and ditched, to give us some time to talk alone. We then sat on the beach and talked about things. It was then we realized how well we really clicked outside of the fire department setting. We walked back to the car, blasted some music and drove back towards home to meet back up with our same group of friends. From then on we talked everyday. Our second date was a concert to go see one of Brittany's favorite bands all the way in Pennsylvania. We had a great time! After that we were pretty much inseparable. Now its more than three years later and we’re getting married!!! :)
