Onika: My niece (Matron of Honor) invited me out to have a Mommy night away from my two little ones Noah (Ring Bearer) and Hallejah (Jr. Bridesmaid). It was her friend Sentera’s mom’s 50th birthday. While sitting at a table, Derrick introduced himself to me and we immediately clicked! Derrick: The moment I saw Onika she lit up the room for me. I had to get to know her. Our small chat turned into a dance that lasted until the end of the night. We been stuck with eachother ever since.

Onika: One day at breakfast (because we are always out to eat lol) he wouldn’t stop staring at me and I knew what he was thinking and he knew that I knew, but neither of us said anything. A week later I was visiting my niece at college and he called while I was driving, and told me he loved me. From that day forward he has never left my side and I have never left his. Derrick: I knew as soon as I met her, but getting to know her I found that we had the same interest on basically everything. From family, to fun, to even downtime. She was just it!

Onika & Derrick: Traveling and enjoying the world together. We love family time but we love exploring new territories together. Continuing to have days that bring nothing but laughter is the goal!
