Quarantine Baby

turn of events

Due to the pandemic, we unfortunately decided to postpone our original wedding plans so that we can plan appropriately when we are all safer to travel and gather... But of course, life goes on. Therefore, we are proud to announce that in place of wedding festivities, we are going to have a baby shower instead. We are pregnant! Baby due in May of 2021. ^_^ Follow our event page (located in the tabs above) for dates on the gender reveal and baby shower. Registry will be updated by April.

What Could Have Been

Our Special Wedding Date cancelled

The importance of why we had chosen to get married on Friday, February 12th of 2021: 1. It would be a year since we had our civil wedding. 2. Our 10th anniversary as a couple would be a couple days after the wedding, on the 14th. 3. It happened to fall on Lunar New Year which would have been a beautiful theme of added prosperity to our marriage. 4. It would have been fun to set the tone for Valentine's weekend with thoughts of love from our wedding. 5. The date 02/12 is individually the reverse of 2021.

How We Met

First Memories

💙Him: Freshman year of college... I started attending the Japanese drum club on campus. A few days into it, a girl wearing a big backpack entered the room asking, "Is this the taiko club?". Not going to say it was love at first sight, but she was definitely cute and I never forgot that entrance. 💜Her: Freshman year of college... I had orientation with one of the girls that also signed up to see the taiko club on campus. She happened to have a class with one of the new guys that joined too. We became close and turned into a trio. One day, while he and I were joking, he offered to buy me onion rings. That's when I felt he was worth keeping around. 😜
