Where is everything taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are at the Ritz-Charles in Carmel. We wanted this to be a "one stop shop" for us, making it incredibly easy and fun for all our guests!

What is the dresscode?

Answer

"Formal Garden Party." That is the party theme! Ladies, formal flowy dresses, fun floral patterns, think whimsical :) Gentlemen, dress shirt & tie (or bowtie), sports coat or suit. We want everyone to feel their best, dressed in their best!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

With respect, we have decided to keep our wedding an adult only event, with the exception of immediate family. We kindly ask that you only bring those formally invited on your invitation. We hope you understand & take the night off, as we can't wait to celebrate with you!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30PM. Please arrive at 4PM to allow time to park, enter the chapel, and find your seat. Doors to the chapel will be closed at 4:25PM, and we don't want any of you to miss out on the big event!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request you RSVP by no later July 19, 2026. This gives Ritz-Charles enough time for food preparation, and final count for the wedding. Any invitations left unanswered will be marked as "no." Please don't arrive unannounced, that would be a bummer.

How should I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP by mail, with the card included inside of your envelope. Or you can RSVP online by scanning the QR code on the back of the invitation!

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

Yes! Ritz-Charles has complementary parking surrounding the venue with special handicap parking at the front. Overnight parking is allowed, just in case.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we ask that guests do not bring a plus-one unless they are named on the invitation. Thank you for understanding, we look forward to celebrating with you!

What food will be served?

Answer

Dinner will be buffet style, with multiple options for everyone! We are aware of some food allergens, but if there is one you need to make known, there is a space on your RSVP to inform us!

Gift registry?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift! But if you wish to give more, we do have a registry link at the top of the page. There will also be a "gift box" the day of the wedding.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please click the "Travel" tab at the top of the page, to see several hotel recommendations that are all within one mile or less of Ritz-Charles!

What time does the reception end?

Answer

Closing time will unfortunately be at 10PM. "You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here."
