Question

Will there be a shuttle to/from the venue?

Answer

Yes! We've arranged a shuttle to get you to and from the venue hassle-free! The shuttle will be picking up/dropping off guests at Bayshore Resort, centrally located downtown and also where our hotel block is (see Travel page). Two shuttles will depart from Bayshore Resorts at 3:30pm for the venue. At the end of the night, the shuttle will make two trips back to Bayshore Resorts at 10:30pm and 11:30pm. Please let us know on the RSVP page if you plan to use the shuttle so we can determine how many buses are needed.

Should I stay for the whole weekend?

Answer

Absolutely! There's so much to do in the area! We'll be spending all of Saturday hanging out in Traverse City, and we'd love for you to join us!

Where should I stay?

Answer

Please see the Travel page to book a room in our wedding block at Bayshore Resort. You are not obligated to stay at Bayshore, and there are plenty of other hotel and airbnb options in Traverse City, so please feel free to stay where you are most comfortable and within your budget.

Should I wear my stilettos?

Answer

You do you! BUT let it be known the ceremony will take place on grass. The rest of the venue has hard surfaces for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing.

Are my kids invited?

Answer

We adore your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. However, kids are invited to the Welcome Party on 8/28. We hope you'll consider making a family weekend of it and team up to find a babysitter for the wedding night!
