One of a Kinard

We met at Florida State University in our business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi. He was wearing a Chicago Cubs hat and gym clothes, she was a pledge dressed in busines casual and had to interview him. We learned that we had the same class schedule, were studying the same major, and had the same long-term goals down to the small details. We spent every day together the next semester and became a couple on a Spring Break snowboarding trip in Colorado. We ended up working the same summer internship and getting the same post-grad full-time job offers. We are now living in and loving Austin, TX.

It was a couple days after our anniversary, so we had a nice dinner planned. We were color coordinated in blue, had a bottle of champagne with glasses out, and left for dinner earlier than the early bird special. You could say she saw it coming, and she had her nails done. We pulled up to the Zilker Botanical Gardens, walked up to a waterfall, photographer ready, and he got down on one knee. We then had a photoshoot in the garden and have never looked happier. The photos are featured here. We had a very nice dinner at Lonesome Dove in downtown Austin after that. The cherry on top was having a stranger at a nearby table pay for our dinner. He heard how excited and in love we were and it reminded him of his recently deceased grandmother, who loved love.
