Great for kids and grown ups! Start in the skies and work your way down to the bottom of the ocean. If you need to kill a couple hours downtown, this is a solid wholesome activity.
The best mall in Dallas, hands down. If you forgot part of your outfit (or, God forbid, your luggage is lost) come here to get what you need.
If we can make one recommendation, it would be to come here for at least one drink. It’s Michelin and James Beard recommended, and less than a block from our apartment—dangerous, we know. Try to come around opening time or make a reservation. We promise it’s worth your time.
One of our favorite date-night spots! If you need a dinner destination for Thursday, we highly recommend coming here and starting with a dirty martini and a dozen oysters. Check resy in advance as they tend to fill up quick!
This entire spot is gluten free! We love coming here for breakfast/brunch. Note that we DON’T recommend coming here on Saturday morning as the Greenville St. Patrick’s Day parade will be going through this area, so parking/ubers will be difficult to navigate.
The best bagel in Dallas for a hangover cure, AND they have gluten free options. It can get busy on the weekends, so either be prepared to wait a bit, or order online and pick it up. There’s also a location on Lemmon Ave if you’re staying closer to downtown/the gayborhood!
If you like a nice patio and tapas situation, this is the place for you. Let the server know about dietary restrictions and they’re happy to mark a menu up for any needs! The patatas bravas are amazing, and be sure not to miss out on dessert.
Lots of locations in Dallas, this just happens to be the nicest. If you’re new to Tex-Mex, this is a good spot to get acquainted. The Mambo Taxi Margarita and a cup of queso for the table are necessities.
We’re not huge on BBQ, but this is among Dallas’ best!
