We met online while we were both living in Nashville, Tennessee. After a few dates and an unexpected "Snowmaggedon" multi-day hangout, we knew something special was brewing. Our relationship grew stronger and stronger in Tennessee, but we faced one of our first challenges when Andy's military work brought him back to Washington and the PNW. Kelsey finished up her graduate nursing program at Vanderbilt and we were long-distance until the summer of 2017, when her and Leo (our pup) moved west to start our lives together in Seattle. Making it through long distance, cross-country moves, new cities, new jobs, and a handful of military deployments, we knew we found our life partners and teammates. All that was left was for Andy to seal the deal (see below!).

During a peaceful morning walk on an "almost empty" beach on the beautiful island of Kauai, Hawaii. Luckily for us, the only other two people on the entire beach were kind enough to take pictures and capture our magical moment.
