The Proposal
A few years ago Gina's co-worker, LeaAnne Jules, said she knew a guy she just had to meet. At that point in time Gina was just taking time to herself and wasn't really in the market but thought what could it hurt to try. A month or two later LeaAnne had told her he started dating someone, so she shrugged it off thinking "story of my life." Fast forward about a year, mid pandemic on a Friday night, Gina gets a text from LeaAnne saying that guy she told her about a year ago is single and he wants to meet her. So Gina told her to give him her number, but really thinking there's no way he'll even reach out. About five minutes later she received a text and it was Zach. They exchanged a few texts and set up to meet the following Tuesday for tacos. On Saturday they continued to text and Gina found out Zach was a Patriots fan. It just so happened that Sunday the Patriots were playing the Bills. So Gina invited him to come to the Bills bar, Tavern on the Tracks, to watch the game. When he actually said yes to that, she knew there was something special about him. Go Bills! After that first date Gina went and told her friends she thinks she just met her husband! They both knew this feeling they had was different than any other before. They continued to date and see each other pretty much every day. The feeling grew more and more and after two weeks of dating they knew they were in love. Everything was starting to make sense. Now they understand this is why past relationships never worked out or were toxic. This is why they didn't meet a year prior, this is why it took so darn long! So they would appreciate exactly what they have and know exactly what they deserve. True unconditional LOVE!
