We're getting married!

We met at a friend's party and at the time didn't think much about it because we were both dating other people. Throughout the years and through mutual friends we spent more time together and became best friends. It started out with a kiss... and with Kyle's persistence and patience we began dating on 01.01.17

For Memorial Day, we decided to take a trip with Lauren (Bridesmaid) to visit our best friend Claire (Maid of Honor). While us girls drove together to the lake house, I complained to them about how I wanted to join the engaged club. Little did I know that I was the only one not in on Kyle's plan. Saturday evening we planned to cook dinner at the cabin, but in order to get me dressed up Kyle had the plan to go out for drinks at the local bar. After dinner everyone was relaxing on the dock. As Kyle and I went to join them, he took the drink I had in my hand and set it down. This is when things started to click. When we got to the end of the dock, with Elvis in the background singing Can't Help Falling in Love and my best friends taking pictures and videos, Kyle got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him.
