This delicious farm-to-table restaurant is about 10 minutes from the venue--a great Sunday breakfast spot.
Micah's Coffee
This drive-through coffee stand is located about 15 minutes from the venue and is great for a quick coffee fix before you hit the road!
Bodo's Bagels
Arguably the best bagels in Virginia, and a classic Charlottesville spot. Andrew's go-to is the PB&J on cinnamon raisin, Carlin loves an everything bagel with bacon, egg & cheese.
Barboursville Vineyards
If you're in town early, this vineyard is close to the venue with beautiful scenery.
Ravens Roost Overlook
If you're looking for an adventure and to see the mountains, we recommend driving the Blue Ridge Parkway! Ravens Roost is the overlook where Andrew proposed & has a beautiful valley view.
Downtown Mall
The outdoor walking mall is a Charlottesville staple with lots of restaurants and nightlife. We'd recommend Chap's Ice Cream and Tilman's Wine Cafe!
Route 151 Breweries
Route 151 holds the classic breweries and cideries that Charlottesville has to offer. We love Bold Rock Cidery, Blue Mountain Brewery (Andrew loves the Dark Hollow), and Devil's Backbone Brewery. Nelson County is a bit of a hike from the venue, so this is a good activity if you're in town for an extra day!
Carter Mountain Orchard
A fun summer spot not far from Thomas Jefferson's Monticello. We recommend trying an apple cider slushy!
Belmont Neighborhood Restaurants
If you're looking for dinner the night before the wedding, we love the Belmont Neighborhood near downtown Charlottesville. The Local, Junction, Mas Tapas, and the Southern Crescent are a few of our favorites.
