Some love stories begin suddenly, while others unfold quietly through God’s perfect timing. Ours is a reminder that what is meant for you will never miss you. For months, we attended the same church, worshiping under the same roof and hearing the same Word, unaware that God was preparing us for each other. We had seen one another before, passed each other without knowing, and shared space without realizing the significance of it. At the time, we didn’t know that our paths had been crossing for years — or that our families had known each other our entire lives. We had been around each other countless times, yet God waited until the perfect moment for us to truly meet. That moment came on May 19, 2024. As church ended and we walked out, he leaned in and softly whispered, “I like that color on you.” It was simple, kind, and sincere — a small moment that carried the weight of something much greater. In that instant, something shifted. What felt like a first meeting was actually the beginning of a reunion God had been orchestrating long before we knew it. Our first date followed on June 2, 2024, at Condado’s. What was meant to be a casual evening turned into an unforgettable night filled with deep conversation, laughter, and connection. We talked about life, faith, dreams, and purpose until the sun came up. That night confirmed what we both felt — this connection was different, intentional, and worth pursuing. From there, our relationship grew through shared experiences and meaningful time together. We went on overlook dates where we dreamed about the future, arcade dates filled with laughter, movie and dinner dates, and trips out of town that allowed us to grow closer. We supported one another in everyday life — riding along while he worked as a truck driver and him coming with me to work as a security guard while I also pursued my calling as an actress. In every season, we showed up for one another with love, patience, and understanding. One of the most beautiful blessings of this journey has been the love shared with his children — Marley, Michael, and Moses. Loving him meant loving them, and that love came naturally and unconditionally. Through trust, laughter, and genuine connection, we became family. Being embraced by them and growing into a role filled with love and care has been one of the greatest joys of this relationship. On December 8, 2024, at the PPG Ice Skating Rink in downtown Pittsburgh, he asked me to be his girlfriend. As we skated hand in hand beneath the lights, it symbolized the beginning of an official chapter — choosing each other, finding balance together, and trusting God with the path ahead. Our relationship has not been without challenges. We have experienced ups and downs, disagreements and celebrations, and even moments that reminded us how fragile life truly is. Through it all, we have felt the presence of the Holy Spirit and witnessed God’s glory firsthand. God has always been the center of our relationship, guiding us through every season and strengthening our bond. Without Him, our love would not be what it is today. On November 2, 2025, just weeks before our first anniversary, he asked me to be his wife. It was a moment rooted in prayer, certainty, and faith — a promise not only to each other, but to God. It marked the beginning of a new chapter built on commitment, trust, and unconditional love. Today, we are joyfully engaged and filled with gratitude for the journey that brought us here. We are wedding planning, preparing to move in together, blending our family, and stepping into the future with excitement and faith. We look forward to building a life centered on God, grounded in love, and filled with purpose. Our story is proof that God’s timing is always perfect. What began as a whisper became a testimony — and this is only the beginning of our forever.
