The Botanical Gardens' 24 acres feature 50 gardens for visitors to explore. This facility in downtown Denver's Cheesman Park treats travelers to a variety of different environments, from a traditional Japanese garden to the South African Plaza blooming with exotic plants.
One of our local hangouts bills itself as Denver's original pizza & oyster bar - and since it's been serving Denver since the Nixon administration, it's safe to say that it's the longest-running restaurant of its ilk.
Carboy Winery is a fun and unique Colorado winery working hands-on with vineyards & winemakers from wine regions around the world. We love to enjoy a glass of wine and delicious appetizers!
Situated in Denver's popular LoHi neighborhood, Avanti is a modern day food hall featuring an eclectic mix of affordably priced restaurants and definitely one of our favorite places. The views of downtown aren't too bad either!

Next to the hotel, the Denver Art Museum features galleries showcasing more than 70,000 works by famed artists such as Vincent Van Gogh and Winslow Homer. The museum houses one of the most impressive collections of art between Chicago and the West Coast.
Right around the corner from our hotel, Leven Deli is a modern take on traditional favorites, with roots stemming from all types of American Deli including Jewish, Italian, and Mediterranean. They cook from scratch, and carefully select ingredients with a focus on organic.
Nestled among the contemporary architecture of the Capitol Hill district is the Molly Brown House Museum, an eccentric example of Victorian life & design that no history buff should miss. Once the home of the "unsinkable" Molly Brown, this museum offers a glimpse into Denver's history & the life of one of its most fascinating residents.
Our favorite concert going spot, Red Rocks Amphitheatre is an open-air amphitheatre built into a rock structure! With its excellent views of the Rocky Mountains, miles of hiking trails and cinnamon-hued sandstone cliffs, Red Rocks Park is a big draw for outdoors enthusiasts and a site not to be missed!
With exhibits featuring everything from dinosaur bones to Egyptian mummies, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science inspires learning in the young and young at heart. Explore where, when, why, & perhaps most intriguing, how Stonehenge was built in the "Stonehenge Exhibit" which closes September 6th.
The Zoo is right next door to Museum of N&S. Modeled after a Kenyan nature preserve, it is home to more than 4,000 animals. Sprawling across 80 acres of City Park, this impressive facility boasts a number of ways to view our furry, feathered & reptilian friends. You can also overload on cute during a visit to the nursery or take on a ride on the zoo's train and carousel.
