When should I RSVP by?

Answer

September 12, 2024 is the latest to RSVP by. If we do not get a response from you by then, we will assume that you will not be joining us on our special day.

Is this a "black tie" affair?

Answer

Not at all! Please wear what you are most comfortable wearing! We do recommend wearing shoes which you wouldn't mind walking in, since the ceremony will be about 1/2 mile walk from the parking lot.

What type of food will be served at the reception?

Answer

Our friend Cat from Compost Kitchen will be catering our special day. She offers a wide variety of delicious, home cooked Filipino food catering to various diets including vegetarian and vegan options. instagram: @compost_kitchen Instead of a traditional wedding cake, we will be celebrating with cupcakes from our friend Alex at Capital Z baking. Flavors for the event include: matcha, chocolate bourbon, strawberry and vanilla. instagram: @capital.z.baking If you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies please contact Shannon or Matthew and let us know so we can ensure all of our guests can enjoy with no worries.

What is the parking situation for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Parking at the ceremony space can be a little tricky since it is a public park (and since it is a weekend) it may be crowded. Carpooling is recommended. There is no private parking at the reception space, but there is ample street parking and a parking garage one block away from the event.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We currently are not registered anywhere for wedding gifts. If you would like to give a gift to us, we are asking for cash towards our honeymoon fund! To contribute, you can visit the "registry" tab on this website, or bring your gift on our special day!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 2 PM, so it would be wise to arrive early in case there is an issue with parking. Our reception starts at 4 PM. Feel free to arrive at the reception venue anytime after then.
