Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Megan O’Neill and Gabe Fisher
Due to it's ideal location between Chicago, Milwaukee, and Lake Geneva, there are so many fun things to do in and around Burlington, WI. Please check out some of our recommendations below. We will continue to add our recommendations as we explore the area.
Lake Geneva

Lake Geneva

Lake Geneva, WI 53147

Our venue is only 20 minutes away from downtown Lake Geneva! There’s too many great stores, restaurants, and activities to list them all, but some of our favorites include Inspired Coffee, Oakfire Pizza, Popeye's on Lake Geneva, Topsy Turvy Brewery, or a walk/hike on the Geneva Lakefront Path!

Chuck's Lakeshore Inn

Chuck's Lakeshore Inn

352 Lake Street, Fontana-on-Geneva Lake, WI 53125

It’s not an O’Neill trip to Wisconsin without a stop at Chuck’s in Fontana. Overlooking the west side of Geneva Lake, Chuck’s is a homey lakeside eatery and bar. Whether you stop by for lunch or a night out, the trip is well worth it!

The Elegant Farmer

The Elegant Farmer

1545 Main Street, Mukwonago, WI 53149

The Elegant Farmer is where you will find all the goodness of homemade, fresh-picked and delicious offerings in their farm kitchen, bakery, deli, and market. Their award-winning apple pie baked in a paper bag has been a signature item for decades, baking over a quarter of a million pies each year. We also recommend taking home some of their brats from the deli!

John's Main Event

John's Main Event

556 North Pine Street, Burlington, WI 53105

If you're looking for a Spotted Cow on draft or a casual bite to eat close to our venue, stop by The Main Event! We recommend their blue cheese burger, ultimate grilled cheese, and cheese curds.

Brightonwoods Orchard

Brightonwoods Orchard

1072 288th Avenue, Burlington, WI 53105

Brightonwoods Orchard is a family run orchard featuring over 150 apple varieties, seeded and seed-less grapes, quince and pears. It is located on one of Wisconsin's Rustic Roads, and there is no admission fee! Brightonwoods is not a pick your own orchard, but visitors are free to roam through the orchard and woods trails. Fall hours may vary, so check out their website for more information.
