If you're wanting stunning views of the Rocky Mountain foothills, head over to North Table Mountain Park. The area offers a variety of trails and multiple starting points, making it perfect for hikers of all levels. We especially recommend exploring the west side of the mountain for the best scenery.

Under an hour and a half from Golden, downtown Breckenridge offers a charming main street lined with cozy restaurants, unique shops, and a welcoming mountain vibe. While you're there, don't miss the free gondola ride that takes you up to the base of the ski resort. Before you hit the road, be sure to check traffic conditions; congestion is common during peak hours (7–9 AM and 3–6 PM), especially with Denver commuters heading to and from the mountains.
