Things To Know
1. Staniel Cay mostly uses cash, but Visa and Master Card are also accepted (please note there are no ATMs on the island). The Bahamian Dollar is pegged 1:1 to the US Dollar and the Bahamas accepts US dollars interchangeably with Bahamian dollars.
2. There are three small grocery stores on the island that sell the basics. There is also a liquor store/laundromat.
3. Golf carts are primarily used to get around Staniel Cay and one will be provided at each cottage.
