Like many modern love stories, ours began with a swipe... on Bumble. But unlike most first dates, ours took place at the most magical place on earth in November 2021. We met up at Disney, where we ate tacos, watched fireworks light up the sky, and somehow covered the really important topics... like our shared dream of owning a rescue pitbull someday. (Spoiler alert: we absolutely meant it.) From that first night, we couldn't stay away from each other. By January 2022, it was official, and we've been building our life together ever since! Along the way, we've introduced each other to our favorite things: Katie's love of musical theatre and the Boston Red Sox, and Cj's unwavering devotion to football, especially the Carolina Panthers. We bond over travel, movie nights spent trying to catch every theatrical release we can, and our love of all things horror. Our little family grew when we adopted our pitbull, Sunny, the best girl in the whole world, and the very proof that Disney dreams really do come true. Now, after all the adventures, laughs, and love, we can't wait to get married surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. Thank you for being part of our story.
