FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

This is an ALL BLACK EVENT. NO OTHER COLORS WILL BE ALLOWED…INCLUDING SHOES. We'd love to see our family and friends dressed up with us so the dress code is elegant and formal attire. Ladies can wear floor length, tea length, or midi formal dresses. Gentleman can wear a suit. Jeans or trainers will be told to turn around.

Question

Is there a block of rooms for the out of town guest?

Answer

We are excited to share that a limited number of rooms have been reserved for our guests at the Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans Convention Center at a rate of $249.00 per night. Please note that there is a 2-night minimum stay requirement due to New Year's festivities. To secure your room, kindly reach out to Afhtravelexperience@gmail.com by November 20, 2025.

Question

Will there be options for guests who don’t eat meat?

Answer

Yes. A variety of foods will be available.

Question

Are children allowed to attend?

Answer

Even though we love the kids due too many factors, we respectfully request no children. This is an ADULT ONLY wedding (21 & up). We appreciate for making prior arrangements.

Question

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

We would greatly appreciate monetary gifts in lieu of traditional presents, as we have been happily married for 12 years and are excited to focus on creating new experiences together. You can find our registry on our website. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Question

Can I take photos at the wedding?

Answer

We are having an "UNPLUGGED" ceremony. We've hired professionals to capture photos/videos and we'd hate for someone's device to block that so unless you have special permission from the bride we ask that you don't record until both the bride and groom have said their vows. After that feel free to take as many photos/videos as you like, thank you!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited numbers we will only accommodate those formally invited.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue no later than 30 minutes before the ceremony. This will allow time for you to park and take your seat. If you arrive after the start of the ceremony, you will not be seated and will have to wait until the start of cocktail hour.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by Friday, October 31, 2025. If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as "Declined." We do not accept any RSVPs via mail, text, or email. Please type your name to find your invitation and accept or decline via our website. Thank you

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Is an elephant heavy? Of course! While the drinks are on us, the hangover is on you. Please drink responsibly. Tips are welcomed!
