Finally!

Growing up, we had mutual friends in high school and slowly became familiar with each other through classes and hanging out with the same crowd. By senior year we were regularly going to concerts together and even formed a band!

We both went off to UNCG as friends. Over the first semester of Freshman year we found ourselves spending more time with each other and it didn't take long to realize that we could be more than friends. At the beginning of second semester Freshman year we became official!

Through two years of long distance, graduating college in 2012, getting our first jobs, moving in to our first apartment in Durham, and living in our current town of Carrboro, here we are, more than a decade later.

Two summers ago we planned our first big trip together out West. We rented a camper van and drove from Colorado to Utah stopping at cool sites and craft breweries along the way. On our last morning in Moab, Utah we took a moment to get one last look at the red mesas and awesome landscape. That's when Hunter popped the question!
