We're getting married!

We met through mutual friends that had invited me to a party that Chris was hosting in his parents basement. At the young age of 18 and 19 years old, little did we know that we had just started the first day of the rest of our lives together. Chris offered me a drink and to this day, we have alcohol to thank, for bringing us together ;) A year later, we moved into that very same basement & the rest is history.

Christmas morning, 2018, Chris surprised me with tickets to Utah which was always a "bucket-list" destination for me due to the immense beauty and diverse National Parks. We created our plan and decided that we would stay in Utah for a week and hike in all of "Utah's big 5 National Parks." Zion National Park was the first park that I learned about when I was younger and where my desire to visit Utah originated from. On May 26th 2019, after hiking up Cable Mountain in Zion National Park, I found Chris down on one knee holding a ring, asking me to officially become his fiancé; all while overlooking the Virgin River, canyons and horizon from about 1500 ft up. I was so excited that I actually grabbed the ring out of his hand before even answering him. After realizing what was happening, I said "YES!", handed him the ring back and let him place the ring onto my finger and we were engaged. We are beyond excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you.
