Who would have thought Facebook Messenger would be the reason we are here today. Corry decided to send me a question on Facebook and it simply said "What Makes You Happy?" I was out of town and driving so I didn't answer for a few hours so he took his message back 😂. I eventually sent him a message asking did he mean to send me a message and of course the rest is history. One simple inbox led us to combining our lives to become one.

We were in process of selling Corry's home and had just finished packing everything up. We are big on celebrating our wins so he said he wanted to have a Date Night to celebrate finishing up one of the 3 moves(His House, My House, and finally Our House) we would be undertaking over the next few months. This wasn't unusual so we got dressed up like we normally do for Date Night and he kept the restaurant a surprise. As we are driving to the restaurant he pretended like we were going to stop by the Brahmin store and buy me a purse, if you know me you know I love purses. But when we arrived and parked at the store he said "Sike I was just playing" and drove off. As we drove to Stoney River Steakhouse (which just happened to be the site of our first date) I was so distracted (more like pouting LOL) by his joke I didn't even notice our family and friends trying to hide from me on the patio. It was a complete surprise right up until the host gave it away but saying we didn't have a reservation for 2 but there was a larger party waiting for us on the patio. In front of our friends and family Corry got down on one knee and screamed "would you PLEASE PLEASE be my wife?" And of course the answer is why we are here today!
