Alexia is a Goldwell Master Stylist and Colorist working as Hair Stylist and Educator at Jenniffer & Co. Additionally, she is Cleveland Scene Magazine's Best Stylist of 2017. In her free time, Alexia enjoys travel, scrap booking, cooking, photography, drinking wine, event planning, playing with her cat (Brodi), finger painting, and watching Netflix & having deep conversations with her groom-to-be. Alexia is a spontaneous, selfless, and creative girl with a passion for making things more beautiful than when she found them. She lives to help others through her kind and nurturing heart. Alexia lives for margaritas, karaoke, and chicken wings.

Brandon Stroud

Brandon is an Artist and Educator. This year he became an Inductee into the Mentor Theater Hall of Fame. His artwork has been shown at MOCA Cleveland, The Cleveland Agora, Cleveland Public Theater, and The Akron Civic Theater. As an educator, Brandon was Theater Director for six years and a Special Education Paraprofessional for five years all through Mentor Public Schools. In his free time Brandon enjoys travel, philosophy, drinking wine, thinking, reading, playing with his cat (Brodi), hosting parties, and watching Netflix & having deep conversations with his bride-to-be. Brandon is a creative, outgoing and humorous guy with a passion for positive, transformative change. He loves bringing people together for a common purpose and sharing in the richness of being in-the-moment.

Chelsea Burgess

Best Woman

Chelly Bean. Adventure pal. Platonic life partner. Human diary. Yin to my yang. Vanilla to my funfetti. Chelsea and I met at Shore Junior High theatre in seventh grade. We both shared our love for Michael Jackson and Chicken Wings. Since then we have been through everything together. We have sang karaoke from coast to coast, taken (literally) planes, trains, cars, boats, bikes and buses to explore our country together. We balance each other out. We love tequila, York Peppermint Patties, and cheeseburgers- onion straws , bacon and BBQ sauce thank you please. California is our favorite place to be and we go every year. Chels knows all of my secrets. We are just a couple of nap queens who want to bask in the sunshine with our cats.

Samantha Boyer

Goddess of Love

My Honey Boo. Making friends as an adult can be hard, with Samantha this was never an issue. Sam and I met seven years ago when she started working at Jenniffer & Co. as the front desk receptionist. She is the type of person you want to be around. She lights up a room, makes everyone laugh and just gets life. I cannot begin to count the times Sam has taken me under her wing and took care of me. Showing me my first "night out," re-dressing me when my outfit isn't right, applying my makeup/jewelry/body lotion you name it. My favorite pastime is Honey Boo putting me to bed, charging my phone and feeding me hot dogs on many occasions. "Best friend" does not do justice to Samantha. She is the most caring, beautiful person I am lucky enough to know.

Tana Cox

Tana Jean has been my best friend since we were seven years old. She has been by my side through all phases of life. Tana is the funniest geek burger you will ever meet. No matter how our lives keep us busy, our friendship always picks up exactly the same. No hiccups, no lost time. Growing up we always had to have matching outfits, hair, Halloween costumes. Tana is a lifelong friend. I couldn't imagine having anyone else by my side on this day we have dreamed about for so many years.

I have always wanted a sister. How lucky am I to get one as perfect as this one. When I first met Emily we just clicked. She is the sweetest person you will ever meet. She is fun, caring, silly, everything anyone could want in a future family member. We laugh loud, are spontaneous, and love good beer. I love having someone to share secrets with and someone who just gets me. Emily is an amazing mother, friend, and soon to be sister.

Soumya and I first met four years ago when I drunkenly bombarded her with Moscow Mules. I knew she was instantly someone I could be friends with. Soumya is one of the smartest people I know, she makes me laugh. We have been on plenty of adventures together. From Downtown Willoughby to Peru she is great to have by your side. Soumya is an excellent planner. She is funny and witty. How lucky am I that I have such a wonderful person to save me from guys night at Ale Haus and too many board games.

Sami and I became friends when she began frequenting table 9 at Longos back in 2009. She is the type of person you want to be friends with. There is no one in the world more loving, caring or giving as Sami. She thinks of everything and remembers it all. Whether it's an event you have going on, your cousins -brothers - aunts illness or that you'll be at work all day on Valentine's Day and might want a candy basket. She puts everyone before herself, no questions asked. I am lucky to call her a best friend.

Lexi Leduc

The Evil Twin to my Good Twin. Lex and I have been through so much. From kissing pug puppies and putting cheese in bullies toasters, to smelling like garlic knots, lexilexi double take, hey ma, L Squared nights being loose cannons, costumes always and singing constantly. Lexi is the type of friend who wherever, whenever you need her, she'll be there. Whether you're alone in a dirty hotel room, or your basement flooded all over your home. I love my schmex.

Derek Foster

Best Man

Derek can make friends with anyone -it's his gift- and an astonishing eighteen years ago he befriended me. It's scary, but Derek knows more about me than anybody in my entire life including Alexia and my own family. He's my blood brother and we've been through it all together. For some reason when Derek and I are together we just want to get into trouble; his doing. He is a free spirit. He spreads the gospel of, "let go, move on, it's all good." Derek is easily the most paradoxical human I know and a bit of a non-traditionalist. Moreover he is spontaneous, hilarious, and my best friend.

Adam Leonard

Best Man

Adam initiated the concept of having two best men at his wedding. That's the kind of thing he does; he's different and he's a leader. Funny enough, I always follow. Adam is always ten steps ahead of everybody and has taught me many things about the world. Why else would I bring up foreign affairs with my parents during dinner? We have been friends since grade school, once setting the record for most consecutive sleepovers, and here we are today traveling the globe together. Adam is strategic, the left brain to my right and my best friend.

Nick Stroud

Groomsman/ Brother of the Groom

Growing up, Nick was my best friend. We watched TGIF every weekend together, wore tank-tops like togas and had epic Super Soaker fights, hosted our own radio show and slammed Pogs, traded Marvel cards and talked through the vents when grounded. Nick did everything a big brother was supposed to do; including kicking my ass a little. I emulated him. Nick is a superb writer and a passionate storyteller. We share this passion for being wordsmiths and our conversations on the telephone can range anywhere from open mic night, to a speech and debate forum, to the pilot episode of a new TV show we didn't know we were writing. Unfortunately my friends think he's funnier than I am. Nick is a loving son, husband and father of two, and my favorite brother.

Brad Pillar

Brad's smile and laughter are contagious and have kept me going all these years. To be honest, Brad is a comedian and I'm his biggest fan; although if you ask him he'll say it's the other way around. Brad is a deep and sensitive soul with the insights and heart of a poet. Mention the words family and friendship to him and he'll strike a stoic pose: a small tear forming in the corner of his eye. He has been a great support system for me all these years (18) and when he tells you something kind about you he has this way of commanding your attention like you are the only two people in the room.

Dylan Foster

Dylan was once only known to me as "Derek's little brother." Nowadays he's indistinguishable from any of my other great friends. Our friendship was developed by our mutual love for art and other strange, dark and mysterious things. We've always expressed ourselves in ways beyond traditional language and because of this our bond was sealed. Dylan has a very optimistic view of life and I enjoy being around that energy. He's always chill, down for anything, and mindful. He is aware of many things outside of himself and gets the big picture. If you're looking for a great listener, look no further, as he is sincerely open to what you have to say, and wants to hear your way of thinking so he can learn and grow. I am fortunate to have a fellow mind-explorer in this surreal place we call home.

Craig Ingwer

Groomsman/ Brother of the Bride

Craig and I met in 2008 when I directed him in the role of Magistrate Philipse in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow at Shore Middle School. In the play I had him rehearse the "head drop illusion," a trick making it appear as though his head was chopped off. Since then, Craig has performed the "jaw drop illusion" when I told him that I was marrying his sister, and he's been nothing but supportive. Craig is a very charming and intelligent person with his head on straight (finally). Craig is a tinkerer and collector of rare and vintage things like me. He's funny and thoughtful (the first to give up his seat at a party) and I feel honored to call him my brother-in-law in the months to come and to finally share a beer together as he approaches 21.

Chad Ingwer

Groomsman/ Brother of the Bride

Chad is a talented musician who creates one-of-a-kind soundscapes that make you feel cooler than you actually are when listening to them. With his unique style he wants to remake music in his image. Together we talk about art, life and bullshit. Chad is often silent but bursting with ideas and influences, absorbing trends, and striving to be on the cutting edge of what's happening. I'm grateful to have somebody keeping me so young and in the loop. Chad has an entrepreneurial spirit, always working on something new or digging deeper into what's possible. He has a great sense of humor and makes it easy to consider him a younger brother.

Cory Kless

Groomsman

Cory and I go back the longest of any of my groomsmen; we were practically neighbors our whole lives. Cory always has a fire in his eyes: it's either his passion and determination like when he's schooling kids on the basketball court or his mischievousness like when he's about to tell a joke or give an impression. Cory's heart is made of gold and he is the hardest worker I know. He is a motivated and a motivating person. He walks tall, holds himself like a gentleman and has swagger. Whenever we see each other, which is not always as often as I'd like, absolutely nothing has changed.

My favorite little boy. You can find Roman dressed like several super heroes at once with a sucker in each hand. He shares my love for sweets and naps on people's laps. With Roman it was love at first sight. -alexia

Ava Stroud

Flower Child

Ava wants you to know she can do it by herself, okay?! She's independent, sassy, and too smart for her own good. Ava is a triple threat: she sings (you should hear her version of, "Let it Go"), she dances (she was the showstopper as "puppy" in Annie), and paints (I heard her original finger paintings go for millions). Ava swims, plays on a soccer team, and loves to read. She is the most thoughtful person we know and loves and cares for her family deeply.

Layla Stroud

Layla's smile lights up a room. She is a free-spirit and dances like nobody is watching. She absolutely adores her big sister, Ava, and they go on many great adventures together. Layla is a goofball and enjoys making people laugh.

Brodi

BrodesMaid

Brodi (5) was given a home in 2012 when Alexia took her in. Brodi put her paws on Alexia's shoulders and it was love at first sight. Brodi is the sweetest, silliest, and most outgoing cat ever. She enjoys chasing her tail, sharing table scraps with her family, playing with feathers and straws, laying in beams of sunlight, cackling at birds, snuggling, and protecting her home.
