While we always kind of knew of each other, we officially met Senior Year at Willowbrook High School through our mutual love of sports. Our first "official outing" was Beauty and the Beast at York Theatre with a group of friends before Jessica asking Patrick to Turnabout where he thankfully said yes with the help of a few of Patrick's now groomsmen. From there Patrick asked Jessica to Prom during her senior night for Soccer after continually saying that he was not able to attend prom or senior night. We went to college in different states but made it through long distance, multiple sorority functions, cross country and track meets, and degrees before finally being able to get married!

Jessica and Patrick moved in together 2 years ago; however, at the time Patrick was starting a new job and Jessica started her master's degree. They decided to wait to get engaged and that once Jess finished her Master's Degree, Patrick would propose. That is exactly what he did, one day after her official graduation date, Patrick got down on one knee right in downtown Wheaton after multiple ploys to distract Jessica all week leading up to it.
