We've taken the Piccadilly line from Heathrow several times. This is one of the main tube lines which travels right into central London. There are several stops along this line for easy transfers on the TFL as well.

South-Western Railway Service to Victoria Station

This is the easiest and quickest option to travel into London from Gatwick Airport. The best stops to get off are Clapham Junction or Victoria Station, depending on where you're staying.

Our recommendations are: Chelsea, Parsons Green, Battersea, Kensington, Holland Park and Notting Hill. If you would like to stay close to the venue, our recommended areas are Richmond, Kew & Barnes.

Transport for London Information

If you're planning to use the TFL frequently during your visit, we recommend to visit their website we have linked. It's worth getting a Oyster card and loading it with some travel money to tap in and out of tubes and buses (please note you don't need to tap out when taking a bus!). While most cabs accept credit cards, some refuse them. So make sure to have a little bit of cash on-hand. Uber is also a great option to take from Heathrow Airport. They usually pick up passengers on level 5 of the parking at the airport.
