I am delighted to be Flora’s Matron of Honor. I’ve known her for 17 years and she has become more than a friend—She is my sister! Being a part of this moment in her life is truly an honor, because we literally dreamed of this day and prayed through it all. I wasn’t surprised that she asked me to stand aside her—if she didn’t that would have been the surprise. (Hahaha)! My heart is overjoyed when I think about how God recaptured love through Flora and Steve. When I think about their story it makes me smile every time. I always find myself excited about sharing it. They are a match made in heaven and an example of God’s greatest love. I know they will succeed in marriage and help others do the same. I Love them both and the entire family. Now let’s get down that aisle Mr. & Mrs. Lyons!

I am over the moon excited that Flora asked me to be her Matron of Honor. I have known Flora from way back in the 1990s. Over the years, we have become like sisters. She has been there for me through some good times and not so good times. She is kind, fun, a supportive cheerleader, a wonderful mother, a kick ass workout buddy, a hard worker, she is giving, loving, and just an all-around beautiful soul inside and out. To know her is to love her and my entire family loves her and I consider myself blessed that she is in my life. She has had my back since Day 1 and I am honored that she chose me to stand with her on her special day of nuptials to Mr. Steve Lyons. What is it to stand with Steve Lyons? Let me start off by saying Steve Lyons is my brother, so it's an honor to stand with such a noble man on this joyous occasion. Steve has always been driven by a vision and is very passionate about his ambitions in life. He is a meek brother in the eye of the storm. In my life Mr. Lyons has been cheerful, hopeful, idealistic, and optimistic. When challenges and circumstances had me feeling down, Steve remained 10 toes to the ground. The fact is, he has had my back, and I love him for that. With that being said, it is my PRIVILEGE to stand with a good natured, gifted, considered brother.
