We can't wait to celebrate with you!

We met when Emily started working in Specimen Management at Strong Memorial Hospital where Ryan had been working for about a year. Our first "date" occurred on October 22nd, 2017 and we made our relationship official on December 16th, 2017!!

Emily decided to propose to Ryan around June of 2021. The actual proposal took place on October 23rd at a Twenty One Pilots concert in Boston. Emily, nervous as can be, waited for the song "Doubt" which the band played during their campfire acoustic set (lights out, crowd seated). Ryan's ring was inside a ring box which was engraved on the top with Emily's handwriting, "Will you marry me?" When the right song started, Emily took the ring from her purse and waited to hear the lyric "Even when I doubt you, I'm no good without you." Then, Emily handed the ring box to Ryan and asked, "Babe, can you read this?" while slipping out of her seat and getting down on one knee. Ryan looked at the message, then at Emily with a huge smile on his face and answered, "Of course!"

Ryan proposed to Emily on 6/20/22 in the Adirondacks. They were on a camping trip together at Old Forge Resort and went out on one of the many lakes in the area for an afternoon of kayaking. Ryan waited until they were back on dry land before he pulled out the ring, got down on one knee, and asked Emily to marry him. She said yes!
