We're getting married!!!

From Channi: AJ and I met at Menchville High in 2008. I was on the bus listeing to music from my iPod and he asked if he could sit by me. There were hardly any other seats available so I said yes. AS SOON AS HE SAT DOWN, all I smelled was weed! I quickly said " You stink!" And he acted so surprised, smelled himself and said " Oh it's just the treefer!" I continued to listen to my music. A few minutes later he asked if he could listen to music with me. I gave him one ear of my headphones and we just listened to music together for the rest of the ride. This became a daily thing, both to and from school. We started talking more and getting to know each other more. We exchanged numbers ( he had his mom's pink flip phone lol). And sometimes we would walk to the water together and just vibe. September 21, 2008 he asked me to his girlfriend (twice lol), and I accepted. We have been inseparable ever since. We welcomed our creation, Aundre' Harris, on July 23, 2011. He is the spitting image of AJ, and the perfect balance of both of personalities. Fast forward to Christmas of 2021, the YES DAY! After opening what seemed like all the gifts, we sat down together to relax. While talking about the day, AJ asked me did I get any 'bling'. I looked at him confused and answered no. He walked away for a moment and came back to sit down. He said a beautiful speech about our family, our growth, and how amazing I am (of course). Then he asked me if I wanted to have the same last name as he and Aundre'. I immediately started crying and accepted. I am so excited for our day. And I can't wait for the rest of forever! From AJ: I remember the first time I laid eyes on my baby (Channi). She was walking down the street with friends. I tried to talk to her and she rejected me but was blushing. I said dang you gone carry me like that. She said “I can’t even pick you up” lol. In my head I thought, this girl is weird. Fast forward, we later met again on the bus….I only sat beside her on the bus for her snacks, naw just playing. I wanted to get to know her and we listened to her iPod, talked and laughed..that was my baby from that day forward. Love her to death after our son and years of holding each other down, she told me if she didn’t have a ring by a certain point..we were gonna be a wrap, not knowing I had already thought about it a couple times. It is hard for men to make that step sometimes but I know I loved her with all my heart and I wanted to make her mine forever. I will be so proud to finally call you my wife…I Love You, Channi Baby
