FAQs

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity, we’re only able to accommodate the guests named on your invitation envelope. When you RSVP and type in your name, it will indicate if a plus one has been included for you. If you don’t see a plus one listed, we kindly ask that you attend solo. We promise you’ll be in great company and truly appreciate your understanding!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we’ve decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only celebration, with the exception of the children of our wedding party and immediate family. We hope you’ll take this as an opportunity to enjoy a fun evening out. You deserve it!

Question

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You’ll be dearly missed! If you’re unable to attend, please let us know as soon as you can by selecting “Will not attend” on your RSVP. This helps us plan more accurately and is appreciated. Thank you!

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Sunday, June 28th using the RSVP tab in the menu. We’ll be providing final headcounts to our vendors shortly after that date, so if we don’t receive your RSVP in time, we may not be able to accommodate your attendance. If we don’t hear from you by then, we will assume you’re unable to attend. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up and celebrating with us! Our dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Please avoid jeans, denim or overly casual wear. The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting), with the reception indoors, so please dress comfortably for both settings.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones and devices remain silenced and tucked away during the ceremony. We’re having an unplugged ceremony so everyone can be fully present, and so our photographers and videographer can capture everything without distraction. Don’t worry, we’ll share all the beautiful photos and videos afterward! Once the ceremony ends, feel free to take as many photos as you’d like (and don’t forget to share them with us!).

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM, so we kindly ask that you arrive by 4:00–4:15 PM to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and getting settled. We don’t want you to miss a moment! Arriving early helps us keep everything running smoothly. Following the ceremony, a cocktail hour with light hors d’oeuvres will be held, with dinner starting around 6:00 PM.

Question

Will the Ceremony & Reception Be at the Same Location?

Answer

Yes! Both will be held at Pine Peaks, South 39957 Swanburg Road, Pine River, MN 56474 — so you can relax and enjoy without traveling between events.

Question

Is seating random?

Answer

For the ceremony, feel free to sit wherever you’d like. For dinner and the reception, we’ll have assigned seating so that guests are with people they know—friends, family, or a plus one. Weddings often bring together many new faces, and we want everyone to feel comfortable, especially our more introverted guests.

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Yes. We will be providing two shuttle buses with service to and from Manhattan Beach Lodge, Pine Peaks Lodge & Suites, and the AmericInn by Wyndham Pequot Lakes/Jenkins. Shuttles will bring guests to the venue for the ceremony and return them to the hotels throughout and after the reception. Pickup times and schedules will be finalized closer to the wedding date and posted here.

Question

Where should I Park?

Answer

There’s plenty of on-site parking available at our venue, so no need to worry! All guests who choose to drive themselves will be able to park on the property. If needed, the venue staff will help direct cars to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Question

Are there hotel blocks or nearby accommodations?

Answer

Yes! Our venue offers six RV and motorhome sites with 30-amp power, water, and sewer hookups completely free of charge! Complimentary tent camping is also available on-site. Please message Jaden or Madison if you are interested in one of these options. We have also reserved hotel room blocks for our wedding weekend. Rooms are limited, so we encourage you to book early. Pine Peaks Lodge & Suites: A two-night minimum stay is required. When calling to reserve, mention the Phillips/Haagenson Wedding, or enter the group code JHMP when booking online to receive the group rate. Please make your reservation by June 7, 2026; after this date, any unbooked rooms will be released back to the hotel. Manhattan Lodge & Suites: A two-night minimum stay is required. If booking by phone, mention the Jaden & Madison Room Block. For online reservations, enter the group code JMHAAG to receive our group rate. For booking details and contact information, please see the Lodging & Hotels section of our website. There are also plenty of rental homes in the area on VRBO and Airbnb. Feel free to explore those if you’d prefer a house for your stay!
