Brandon and Briana (Bri) first met in class, while attending the University of Central Oklahoma. Bri remembers Brandon as the “really cute guy that was usually the last one in class and the first one out”. Brandon remembers Bri as the ”smart, pretty girl that sat in the front row”. We kept running into each other all over town, (Walmart, the gym, McAlisters) after a few flirty exchanges. Bri, finally suggested that Brandon should get her number so we could meet up at the library to work on our final projects.

Hanging out for the first time and talking until the sun came up, then getting IHOP. Going to the Oklahoma State Fair, enjoying food and rides. We got a hand cast and a couples cartoon drawing made. Valentine’s Day at Bourbon St. Cafe. We enjoyed our dinner while listening to a live band. Traveling out of the country for the first time. We went to Playa Del Carmen Mexico. We had a blast relaxing and exploring. Hosting Thanksgiving Dinner for the first time in Brandon’s house. Our immediate family were able to meet each other for the first time.

Brandon planned the perfect off day. Brandon dropped Bri off at work, the night before and picked her up the next morning. Brandon took Bri to get her eyelashes done. After going to the mall, Brandon made plans to go to dinner that night saying they were celebrating his birthday early. While finishing getting ready for dinner. Bri recieved a group text message from Brandon, which included his mom, saying “Can you bring the good camera”. At this point Bri knew something was up, but didn’t say anything. Brandon and Bri went to dinner in Chisolm Creek. Brandon suggested walking around the lake and taking a picture in front of the water display. Bri was getting her camera pulled up on her phone, turned around and saw Brandon down on one knee. After saying “Yes!”, Brandon and Bri were engulfed by cheers and congratulations from the friends and family who were hiding and watching the entire time. Fun Fact: Bri’s grandparents from out of town, were able to witness and be apart of the moment which was a surprise for them as well!
