Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us

Rachel Wilder

Maid of Honor

Rachel is a childhood bestfriend- I think we met sometime around 4-years-old!! Needless to say, we have shared plenty of heartfelt conversations, hibachi dinners, crying sessions, adventures, and LOTS of laughs!! Rachel is a friend who genuinely pursues Jesus and I am grateful for our 'iron sharpens iron' relationship. Rachel is the most encouraging, uplifting, and loving individuals you will ever meet.

Daren Collier

Best Man

My bigger little brother! We have been through everything together from watching his first tee-ball games to him watching my football games. When I was out busting school bus windows with rocks (horrible mistake), he was out busting them with me. He watched me go to college, so he followed me and came to college. I knew he has always watched me and what I did growing up, and I tried to be the best example possible. I love you with all my heart, and I know you will always have my back!

Sophie Smith

Maid of Honor

Sophie is my younger sister, and as we have gotten older, we have become best friends. Anytime we are together, we are giggling about something or I am finding a way to secretly get under her skin. Sophie may come off as shy, but she really is silly once you get to know her. Sophie's intelligence never seizes to amaze me.

Canon Carper

Groomsman

I met Canon a few months before starting college at the University of Kentucky through one of our mutual friends. I didn’t know that meeting would be the start of one of the best friendships I have to this day. The countless hours we spent studying and working together are insignificant compared to the fun we had laughing, talking, riding around Lexington, and shredding the slopes! I’m honored to have you with me on my wedding day.

Kayla Smith

Matron of Honor

Kayla is my older sister who is SO smart, talented, and loving. We weren't the closest growing up and we differ quite a bit in our preferences, but that hasn't stopped us from being close as adults. Kayla is a new mom and it has been so beautiful to watch her natural ability in being an amazing mom with my beautiful niece (the flower girl!!).

Justin Hoard

Groomsman

This guy Justin Hoard or Hoard, as I know him, became one of my good friends in college, and I met him through Dave. He ended up coming to live with me, Dave, and Canon at the Royal Lex. We worked at Fed Ex together for the brief time I was there and took many different ski trips! Hoard was the first (and only) person I have ever met in my entire life that pours milk into the bowl first and then pours the cereal.

Anu Annabathula

Bridesmaid

Anu was my first friend in Kentucky my junior year of high-school. She came up to me my first day of lunch and asked me if I wanted to eat with her and her friends (so happy I said yes). Anu is hilarious and can bring laughter to any situation (even the most awkward). No doubt that Anu will be cracking jokes and crazy dances on the dance floor at the wedding!

Colin Marshall

Groomsman

Colin and I have always been friends. Our friendship grew when we decided to room together at the University of Kentucky during our senior year of high school! We spent that first year of college in a dorm room no bigger than a jail cell in a building called Kirwin three. We got to know each other better, and he was the person that introduced me to skiing. I can’t thank him enough for that because skiing is my third love (right behind God and Savannah).

Mackenzie Harris

Bridesmaid

You know that school lunch Anu invited me to (if not, go read Anu's bio)? Mackenzie is one of the friends I met at that lunch. After high school, Mackenzie and I lived as college roommates for two years. Looking back, I now know those were two of the best years!! Mackenzie and I share a love for outdoors, hiking, hammocking, and jeep wranglers. She is a free-spirit, and I couldn't be happier to have her by my side on the wedding day!

Aral Butuner

Groomsman

Mr. Aral Butuner is another person that I met through Dave and Hoard. When Aral is around, you are guaranteed to have a good time (and he’s around a lot)! During my time living at Royal Lex, I’m pretty sure he spent more time on my couch than I did. Aral is someone that’s always laughing and joking unless his favorite soccer team is loosing, then all hell is about to break loose!

Rachel Adams

Bridesmaid

Rachel and I met through Mackenzie in college and we all three lived together for two years. Rachel is very much a free spirited person who loves music and dogs. Rachel goes with the flow and is one of the most selfless individuals I know. In the last few years, Rachel has inspired me as a result of how fierce and resilient she is in overcoming life challenges!

Dave Clark

Groomsman

Dave and I have known each other for quite some time. We grew up together playing tee-ball on a team that my dad helped coach. Fast forward to college- Canon and I just happened to see him at Common's cafeteria, and that’s where we had the conversation to move in together at the Royal Lex. Living there with Dave showed me one thing, that dude sure knows how to sleep!

Breanne Wilson

Bridesmaid

Bre and I weren't friends at the beginning of our relationship in high school (to be honest, we don't know why we weren't). Once we broke the ice with one another, we bonded over late-nights, girl talk, and crazy adventures. Bre is confident, driven, and such a go-getter! It has been a privilege to watch her grow. Bre has always been the life of the party and I know she is going to bring excitement to my big day!

Alexis Parra

Groomsman

This guy was my first friend when I moved to Kentucky around five years old. Growing up on Glen Street, we were together every day being trouble makers. Alexis was with Daren and me that day, throwing rocks at the school bus windows. Alexis was one of the first people I called a true friend, and that’s why he is here today.
