I played flag football on Sundays at the park with Jacque's brothers and some of my homeboys. I had never met Jacque. One day she came to the field to watch her brothers play. I was in my backpedal and as I turned my head to look at the receiver that was coming my way, she came across my eyes. She was walking with her niece going toward my endzone. I vividly remember her wearing a black sundress. After the play was over, I asked my homeboy Rome "Who is that?" He replied, "That's Jason's twin sister." I said, "Jason has a twin." He replied, "Yeah lol you ain't know." I said, "No I didn't" and left it at that. I then searched for her through her brother's Instagram and found her. I reached out to her and she gave me the run around for a month before she let me see her. She invited me to her sister-in-law's birthday party, but I told her we should meet before then to get to know each other. She agreed. So I took her out to shoot pool with some of my friends to get her out of her element. We have been inseparable ever since.

On Sundays my brothers played flag football at the park with their friends. All of the wives/girlfriends would be there to watch them. One Sunday, I decided to go chill with the ladies while their men played football. I walked my niece around the field so she could burn some energy. A few days later, Martin started following me on Instagram. I followed him back. He would like all of my pictures and always commented on my posts. By the end of that week, I got a DM on Instagram from Martin. He told me he saw me at the park and wanted to get to know me. He gave me his number but I did not call or text him for a few weeks. He was very persistent in trying to connect with me. One day, I finally decided to text him. We talked almost every day for a month before we ever went on a date. I was in and out of town or already had existing plans, so I did not have a lot of free time. My sister-in-law's birthday party was coming up, so I invited Martin to attend. Most of the football guys and their women were going to be in attendance, so I knew he would have people to mingle with. He suggested that we hang out before her party so that we could get to know each other. I agreed. He took me to play pool with some of his friends and we have been joined at the hip ever since.
