Unlike most sisters, Bridget and I are bonded by both blood and by choice. When I was born, I was born with a built in role model, best friend, and second mom. There is no one else I’d rather have watching tv with, she showed me Doctor who, ghost hunters international, and destination truth. She used to do my makeup for me in middle school to help me impress the guy I liked, she’d help pick my outfits, and now she’s helped support me through my toughest moments. Now, I know I won’t have her attention every waking moment now but there’s no one else I’d rather call my Big brother than Shawn. The two of them together give me hope in true love and something to aspire to. I totally ship the two of them.

I met Bridget through her current workplace at the ICD, where we bonded immediately on the first day. We instantly became the best of friends, and since then Bridget's bubbly personality and positive attitude have brought light to so many of my days. Not long after meeting, Bridget introduced my husband and I to Shawn, and something about the four of us together just clicked. We now have so much fun all together, going on travelling adventures, playing board games, or just hanging out watching questionable YouTube videos. I was honored to have Bridget by my side in my own wedding past December and I am increasingly honored to stand up for her as she marries the love of her life. I love Bridget and Shawn both so much and am so excited to be a part of their special day!

I met B at Good Counsel Academy during the first week of freshman year. We were partnered for the scavenger hunt. I remember she had these cute lil pony tails in her hair, that would have looked ridiculous on anyone else, but made her look all the more affable. She made the experience fun and worthwhile. I don’t even know if we finished that scavenger hunt. We might have been laughing too hard to do so (which has always been the case with us). That’s also probably why we had hardly any classes together! Either way, I found the greatest treasure of all that day, a lifelong friend

They say introverts rarely make friends, that usually an extrovert comes along and claims them, and that’s exactly what happened here. I was resistant at first, but what happenes when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? A mutual agreement that we’d be friends for life

Shawn was always one of those people you hated and loved at the same time growing up. He's the Schrödinger's cat of intelligence: one of the smartest people you know, but some days you'd swear he was the dumbest mother fucker alive. Growing up, we always got along. We bonded over everything. We lived in the same room, played the same video games, enjoyed the same sports, and mostly had the same friends. Shawn was the reason I went to Binghamton University and the reason I decided to study Computer Science. Whenever I needed help, he always dropped everything to study with me for hours. Now we work together at the same company and carpool everyday. He's the best friend I've always had. I'm excited for Bridget and Shawn as they enter this new chapter in life together. I first met Bridget a few winters ago and noticed very quickly how cheerful and warm she is, and we became friends immediately! Over the next few years we only grew closer from board game nights, going to the movies with a lot of friends, and competing for who knew the most obscure Office quotes. I am still blown away by how much Bridget does for the people she cares about, and I'm so glad to celebrate the happiest of occasions with her! So here's to the best of times with her husband to be, Shawn Colin Ba... wait, I'm supposed to talk about Shawn? Oh, well, he seems alright I guess, helped me out with math that one time.

Shawn and I met via our significant others who worked together at the time. Though at first we talked very little, the following months had us hanging out frequently and discovering all of the common interests we shared. Coming from very different backgrounds, we shared many hobbies and passions. Whether it be board games, movies, or even dungeons and dragons, we actively sought out excuses to hang out and force our girlfriends into many hours of avoiding what we roped them into. Shawn is a great friend that I look forward to having in my life for a long time, while now forcing our wives to tolerate our antics.

I first knew Shawn as that guy who lived on my floor freshman year and also happened to be on the student council with me. We became roomies sophomore year, and our acquaintanceship fast flourished into full-fledged friendship. Be it through memes, league, galaxy brain math proofs, or other wacky antics, we always found ways to keep ourselves laughing through the droll affair of undergraduate university. Shawn ranks high amongst the most compassionate and genuine people I know. It is a major joy and honor to share his and Bridget’s special day as a member of the wedding party. Having seen their relationship grow from such humble beginnings, I can confidently say I don’t know of anyone who would be a better match for Shawn than the Meme Queen herself.

Shawn's always been someone I’ve admired. In high school, I felt he was a kind, intelligent, and an able-bodied guy. After moving in with him in college, I knew my feelings were right. He’s always willing to lend an extra hand when you need it. Shawn is the nicest, most compassionate, and wicked smart man I’ve ever had the privilege to call my friend. I setup the event where Shawn and Bridget met. It was disarming to see how quickly they fell for each other. I’ve never seen two people more excited to find each other than these two. They’ve built a strong relationship and armed themselves with the tools they need to last. They're the most enthusiastic couple I’ve ever witnessed, and that is exactly what Shawn deserves; someone that’s just as crazy about him as he is for her. Love you both!

Shawn and I were roommates as Freshman at Binghamton. We bonded over television shows, including How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, One Step Beyond, and Cheers. I went to his acapella shows and he attended Hillel (Jewish group) Friday night Shabbat dinners with me. We saw a campus play based on episodes of The Twilight Zone. Shawn attended my graduation; he's the first person I met and the last person I saw on campus. I had a great visit with Shawn and Bridget last Summer. We went bowling, ate at Denny’s, saw a Quentin Tarantino movie, and browsed a store selling vintage movies, comics, and Star Wars figures. Bridget has always been kind and generous with me. She is a warm, wonderful person and I’m absolutely thrilled that they found each other. Mazel Tov, Shawn and Bridget!
