We met while working as lifeguards at Donald M. Wade Aquatic Center. We were always cracking jokes and smiling at each other uncontrollably. During one of our trainings, we paired up and swam each other back and forth across the pool with a rescue tube hundreds of times. It was obvious that there was a spark as we couldn't stop smiling the entire time. We’re pretty sure everyone there could easily tell there was a connection between us, like there was some kind of sign on our foreheads that said we liked each other.

We took a trip to New York City with Jonathan's parents. We went 850 feet up to the Top of the Rock and looked over the beautiful lights and buildings that New York had to offer. Jonathan got down on one knee and proposed. At first I thought he was kidding then I saw the ring. I couldn't help but cry and say YES! We're so excited to celebrate this new chapter in our lives with you. See you on May 21!
