On February 16, 2013, two of Ashley's cousins and one of James's close friends talked about how they thought it would be a good idea for Ashley and James to get together for a conversation. Ashley's cousins told her that James was really a nice guy and that she should talk to him. She was open to having a conversation with him but under one stipulation, James had to bring a daiquiri to her house whenever he came by to talk. That evening when James left the daiquiri shop, he'd almost made it home when his phone rang. "I forgot to tell you that Ashley wanted you to bring her a daiquiri," his friend said. James was surprised but went to buy the daiquiri. He showed up at Ashley's house with the daiquiri within minutes and she came outside to talk. She thanked him for the drink and the two began their conversation. Both, James and Ashley, were amazed by the chemistry between them. They talked about so many different topics while sitting outside in the truck. Their first conversation went on from 10PM to 2AM the next morning. As Ashley walked inside, after the four-hour talk, a thought crossed her mind. She just knew there was something special about James. Whenever the two tell this story, they always think to themselves "And Our Story Began..."
