Question

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Not entirely, however, we will provide a shuttle from the reception back to the hotel. Cars can be left overnight at the country club if you've had too much to drink.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Are kids invited?

Answer

If your invitation says "The XX Family", your children are allowed, otherwise, we'd prefer it was just you and your spouse.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, you can park at the country club and if you've had too much to drink, you can leave your car overnight. We will have shuttles that will take you back to the hotel. We recommend that people uber/lyft to the country club so they don't need to worry about getting their car the next morning.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

We will have the ceremony outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will be indoors in the main ballroom at Porters Neck Country Club.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes! Please click on our Hotel Blocks and Airport Information tab within our website for details. We recommend staying at one of the Riverfront properties as there is SO much to do, however, if you prefer to stay closer to the venue, you should book the Holiday Inn Express at Porters Neck.

Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

We will be utilizing the RSVP online function within our website to help us stay better organized. Please click the RSVP tab within our website to confirm your attendance.
