How did we meet?

After meeting online through mutual friends in 2019, Mariah and Alex met at Barnes and Noble on 34th Street where they got to know each other even more. Fostering their love for reading, they committed to learn about one another by reading each other's favorite books, peeling back the pages of our interests, likes, and passions. It wasn't until less than a year later that Alex & Mariah's romance really began. Texts became FaceTime calls, which became long distance visits to Jersey and eventually the two committed to each other on August 1, 2020. Joining them in their union, August Torres, their toddler Toy Poodle, embraces both her Mommy & Daddy & can't wait for her humans to become one under God. On August 6, 2022, Alex filled the Skyline Drive In Movie Theater with both their friends and family to propose and begin the start of forever. Continuing to fill the month of August with our love, we can't wait for our village to witness our covenant. Join us on 8/3/2024 to celebrate our love.
